EAGE Earth-Hack Hackathon on February 2019

The EAGE Earth-Hack Hackathon, a two and a half day event will be held in Kuala Lumpur on 22nd – 24th February 2019, where software developers, engineers and geoscientists will spend intensive hours to hack, test and experiment with the latest advancements in machine learning algorithms against subsurface data such as seismic, logs, cores, to solve data mining, geological interpretation, and quantitative reservoir characterization problems.

Winning team stands a chance to win a cash prize up to EUR1,000!

Slack is used as a news outlet and chat forum for the event. Please join the Slack team Earth-Hack so you can take part in the #earth-hack channel.

– How to participate as a student?

If you already have a team of 3, post your team name and interest on earth-hack slack. If you do not have a team of 3, shout out on Slack channel to find your team. Team selection will be announced 11 February if your team is being selected to take part in Earth-Hack.

– How to participate as a working professional/ non-student?

Find a team of 3 and register here and announce your participation on Slack.
